POSITION: Maintenance Account Manager
The Account Managers for landscape maintenance operations are the main connection between the customers and the company. They are the main contact for new clients wanting service and are responsible for reaching out to new and existing clients to make sure their expectations are not only met, but exceeded. They are also the link between the customers and the crews, training, scheduling & overseeing all aspects of the maintenance work.
Job Requirements: 2 or more years of experience in the landscape industry are required
Initial & follow up meetings with clients
Prepare & present quotes for contracts
Keep customers updated on schedules and changes in personnel
Solicit new business opportunities that meet or exceed Company goals
Make recommendations for keeping or terminating both customers and personnel
Work with other Managers on scheduling & overseeing work to insure quality & client satisfaction
Train personnel in job skills, knowledge and responsibilities including introductory and ongoing training
Insure that Company rules for conduct, safety, and quality are followed
Hire, discipline and fire personnel as appropriate
Communicate to personnel any specific customer requests and/or complaints & oversee their resolution
Insure maximum sales volume at minimum cost
Insure all jobs stay within allotted budget
Oversee & maintain proper care and use of all the Company’s vehicles and equipment
Maintain positive relations with other companies in the industry and related industries
Represent Company in public through organizations, trade associations, and other means of encouraging new business
Keep informed of the latest market trends, competition, and products & make recommendations based on this knowledge
Salary is $50k – 70k, plus discretionary profit bonuses.
